Mum made my day with a simple message “宝贝.祝妳生曰快乐,事事顺心、身体健康”
A little awkward with her calling me “宝贝” but above it all, very touched, very loved.
To top it up, Xinjie surprised me with a McDonald’s delivery, the Deluxe Big Breakfast set, and a message which she requested for the delivery man to pass on delivery. The message “Happy Birthday Jie Jie & I love you :)”
No rah rah celebration. Simple. Sweet. Filled with love.
Not forgetting all the precious friends who make time for me over the weekend :)

Everything Has Its Time
After watching myspringfling’s (“MSF”) video since Saturday, something just went deep in my heart. Words from the video and the verses from Ecclesiastes 3 (NKJV) speak just right into a season of my life that I am going through.
The title of Ecclesiastes 3 is “Everything Has Its Time”
Indeed, EVERYTHING has ITS TIME. It is true that we just need to “give time, time” (Quote from MSF). Things just fall into place as I read the passage and remembered how God constantly reminds me to “be still and know that He is God.”
In all season of my life, I am thankful to have a faithful God who is there watching out for me when my heart turns cold, who gives me strength when I am weak, who shows me clarity when I am filled with doubts. This is the small little faith I will always keep, believing in my Jesus, my Lord and God.
